Based on these foundations, our bitesize mental health awareness course is designed to give you the tools you need to confidently manage the stresses of every day life.
This bitesize mental health awareness course has been designed to be accessible to anyone anywhere and to make online learning more manageable. These modules include short videos (5 – 10 minutes long) together with worksheets that you can complete in your own time to learn practical tools and strategies to improve your wellbeing.
Whilst each module is important in its own right, they are all connected and intrinsically linked. To achieve optimum learning and results, it is recommended to complete all five modules.
We begin with mental health and wellbeing, exploring what it actually is from a bio-psycho-social model and the reasons why we need to understand it.
Here you will learn what stress is and how to manage it. We explore how the brain influences our response to stress and learn how to notice our individual stressors.
In this lesson we take a look at the concept of resilience, how to build it and how to implement daily tools and techniques to strengthen resiliency.
In this lesson we delve into emotional intelligence and emotional control understanding what it is and how we develop self-awareness.
The final lesson explores the evidence-based foundations of wellbeing and resilience that influence our mental, physical and emotional health with tips on how to enhance them.
